Don't Just Dump It!

You just got a new computer but don't know what to do with the old one, right? Please don't put it in the garbage or a dumpster. Here's why...

Electronic waste represents 2 percent of America's trash in landfills, but it equals 70 percent of overall toxic waste. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, an estimated 30 to 40 million PCs will be ready for end-of-life management in each of the next few years. An estimated 251 million PCs were sold in 2007.

As you can see, that's a big problem. So now Borked PC offers recycling services to get rid of your old computer hardware.

Here is how it works: Bring your old computer hardware to one of our offices or give it to one of our technicians when they are at your house. We'll take it from there and make sure it doesn't end up in our landfills.

Is it free? Nope, unfortunately not. Luckily it is not expensive. Each major part costs $10 each (monitor, computer, printer, etc), and it is only $3 to take all the rest of the small stuff (mice, keyboards, etc).
